A Cedar Rapids man has been sentenced to 46 months in federal prison after failing to register as a sex offender.
Antoine Hendricks, 36, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to one count of failure to register as a sex offender between September 2011 and December 20, 2011. He was required to register following a 1996 conviction for third-degree sexual abuse in Linn County, according to a news release. He must also pay a $100 fine.
Hendricks must also serve a five-year term of supervised release following his sentence, and comply with all sex offender registration and public notification requirements.
