Many contributed to memorable Honor Flight

I would like to thank all the people in the band and the huge crowd that greeted the Honor Flight veterans and their guardians on their return home April 22. They really stayed up late.
I want to thank all the people who wrote letters for the 'mail bag” I received on the plane during the return trip. Also, thanks to the great group of volunteers who put this show on the road and took care of us, and to the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club, who gave me a beautiful plaque.
Thanks to all the sponsors that help provide these Honor Flights. It was a most memorable day.
