Vote for Cortez for C.R. City Council

I support Carl Cortez, my friend of 40 years, for City Council at large. As a small-business owner in Cedar Rapids, I feel that Carl understands the importance of both small and large businesses for our town to grow and prosper.

He feels that we definitely need to repair our streets and make them more drivable for the residents of the community, as well as the visitors to our great city. He believes the council should work together supporting all quadrants of the city and the downtown as a whole.

He is a thinker, a learner and a problem solver. He will work well with the city, county, state, federal and other agencies to gain the funds that will make our city, once again, a vibrant town we can be proud to call our home.

We need a strong person like Carl to help lead and make the right decisions for our city.
