Woods’ downfall shines light on true heroes

Idol worship is at its worst a distraction from our humble and very real lives. Insider Susan Estrich and her “insider” groupies may have known long before the rest of us, but I give her no credit for her sarcasm in “Woods' feet of clay no secret to insiders” (Dec. 11). Tiger Woods' life is depressing.
My advice, Mr. Woods, is to give all of your endorsement money to hospitals, clinics, research universities and medical teams - to the many people who work to heal us in multiple and skillful ways. First responders, nurses and physicians are among the many who are positive role models and they deserve support, recognition and thanks.
That's my insider advice, as a mom who is forever grateful for superstar medical professionals who made life better for many family members.
