Provide better care in nursing homes

My mother was in a Marion nursing home for 10 years. We went through many administrators, the last two being the worst. They cared about everything but the residents.
Mother's hands were full of dried food, smelling of urine, causing a sore bottom and dirty dentures. My brother would wash her hands, put in eye drops and clean her glasses. Being there daily, we knew and saw a lot.
I feel sorry for residents who have no one to check on them and visit with. My mother just passed away July 29 in a hospice room for her last six days. The administrator never dropped by her room and I know this because we never left her side.
I'm sure they wouldn't want their own mother in such a facility.
