Graffiti festival would bring attention to C.R.

Cedar Rapids should host an International Graffiti Festival in the center of the budding arts and culture district. While decisions are being made for the future of the Quality Chef building, let's invite all the masters to contribute to a Graffiti Wall of Fame.
Not only would it stand as an expression of our hospitality, but also reflect rebirth after the flood, while serving as a “hip magnet” for the arts district. This would surely generate international buzz and could easily be tied with the Grant Woods studio (5 Turner Alley) and the Amana Colonies for an effective marketing campaign that could make Cedar Rapids a “destination city.”
