Morning KDAT content has become vile
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 18, 2011 12:43 pm
While KDAT used to be my favorite radio station and a station I felt I could play when my kids were in the car, this is no longer the case. This new morning show is vile and disgusting (recent discussions on the air have spanned from menstruation to covering yourself in fecal matter), and the cursing is something my kids and I can do without.
Following my letter to station management regarding my disappointment and concerns, I have heard nothing. No reason for the change, no apology for the subject matter - not even an acknowledgment they received my email. My only course of action now is to let as many people and sponsors know of this filth that is on in our town and to hope that enough people stop listening and boycott the station's sponsors, and that it makes a difference.
