PHOTO: New East Post Road bridge starting to take shape
After a little over a month since the East Post Road bridge was closed to traffic, the first new element is in place.
This new concrete footing is positioned in the south side of Indian Creek, with much of the original bridge still intact overhead. The footing features a rock wall-like design just below the metal rods. Work continues on further bridge demolition while new elements are constructed.
