Young men help push out of ditch
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 1, 2014 2:00 pm
Hats off to the two young men who stopped and stood in knee-deep snow at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 18.
I was going north on Edgewood Road when a car turning onto Highway 100 stopped, and I do not know why. To avoid hitting him, I had to make a sharp turn to the right. I hit a patch of ice and went into the ditch.
Two young men I never got to thank pushed me out. It put their cars in danger of getting hit. Ninety-nine percent of the young people today will do anything for you. God bless the young people of today.
