Letter: Reader disagrees with coverage

In reference to The Gazette's 'Faith and Values” column July 23, it seems strange to me to have a feature article 'Being good without God” devoted to one man's move from faith (as we Christians understand it) to no faith.
While every person has the right to follow his religious convictions, I'm perplexed as to why The Gazette would highlight such action. I'm aware that Christianity is being attacked in our culture, but I am disturbed by what I perceive to be The Gazette's emphasis in featuring spokesmen of other world religions or no religion at all under the heading of 'Faith and Values.”
Because God has given me the gift of faith in believing in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I'll continue trusting Holy Scripture as my guide for life and death, regardless of The Gazette's misdirection.
