Vernon will ask the tough questions

It's no coincidence there's a picture of Rosie the Riveter on Monica Vernon's website. They both know there's no such thing as a 'man's job,” that when there's work to be done, gender should not be a consideration.
If Iowans in the 1st Congressional District want to make history and elect the first woman in the state's history to Congress, we have an obligation to make an informed decision.
Of the three women running for this seat, only one brings business acumen, marketing know-how and experience working with multiple levels of government bureaucracy: Monica Vernon. She is not afraid to ask the tough questions. She's willing to challenge the 'old boys' network” and to push for consensus to break gridlock.
Let's send Vernon to Congress so she can work on behalf of the 1st District and Iowa. Voting for her in the June 3 primary is the first step.
