Obama takes criticism with grace

To the editor:
I wish I could be around to read the future history books, the old newspapers on microfilm, and all the other published documents saved for history, that will describe how mean and angry the people were to President Barack Obama.
He took it all with such grace and dignity and never insulted anyone back. He stands so tall compared to those who hate him.
All of that will be written about every person in Congress, and others, because almost every paper is filmed, as are almost all events now with the new technology.
He will be remembered in the best of ways and his family will be proud of their ancestor and how he handled all the bile that was thrown at him.
But the descendants of any Republican will have to read the papers and history books and be so ashamed of their ancestors, their great-grandparents, etc.
Doesn't anyone ever think of that? I do genealogy and read newspapers from 150 years ago and you would be surprised by what was printed way back then. I hear the stories of shock from people who ask me for research, how they feel knowing their uncle/grandfather killed a friend in a drunken rage. How they feel when they learn the truth from a newspaper on the front page.
Would those people be so mean and evil if they knew the camera was on them with a recorder? Maybe they should think about it.
