Daniel Eichelberger joins Kernels from Orem; David Harris to Arkansas

The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that OF David Harris has been promoted to Arkansas and that OF Daniel Eichelberger will join the Kernels from Orem. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the move on Saturday.
The Angels drafted Eichelberger, 23, in the 20th round of the 2009 Free Agent Draft out of East Central Community College in Decatur, MS. In 42 games at Orem last year, he hit .252 with three HR and 15 RBI.
Harris played in the Kernels first two games this year, going 1 for 6 with a double and RBI.
Eichelberger will join the Kernels in Peoria and be available for Saturday's 1:00 pm game with the Chiefs. With today's transactions, the Kernels roster remains at the MWL maximum of 25 active players, with no one currently on the disabled list.
