Lyle Ratzel, 73, of Coralville, Iowa, passed away June 10, 2021, at his home following a long illness.
A gathering in remembrance of Lyle will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday June 15, at The Kirkwood Room, 515 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to organizations that were important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Ratzel
of Coralville, Iowa; two daughters, Meredith Ann Ratzel (Ben) Caskey of Frytown, Iowa, and Emily Nicole Ratzel (Ben) Mozena of Iowa City, Iowa; sister, Maxine Newkirk of Hilton Head, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Olivia Caskey, Griffin Caskey, Maya Mozena and Eleanor Mozena.
