Don't let Vander Plaats group get activist judges elected

Iowans, we must take the threat to our liberty seriously. That threat: activist judges in our judicial system.
A movement, motivated by arrogance, ignorance, intolerance and irresponsibility, threatens the very balance of power in Iowa. Bob Vander Plaats and his ilk have decided that they are above the law and that eight judges (seven Supreme Court and a District Court Judge) must be activist judges simply because the judges ruled, in one specific case, against their desires and therefore must be removed.
What they really aim to do is replace these judges with activist judges who will rule in their favor. And they are not above using lies, disinformation, coercion and intimidation to get what they want.
This goes well past the ruling itself - it goes to the heart of our republic and questions whether justice can be found in Iowa, and for that matter the USA.
These judges did their job; they sorted through the web of legislation and determined a law was not constitutional, and dare I say their decision was unanimous! Judges cannot rule based on polls or votes, and we can't allow them to be bullied by any constituent group, including legislators.
Three justices have already been wronged by the hate of a few zealous ideologues, the blind faith of a motivated vocal minority and the apathy of the majority. Don't let these enemies of America win this battle. Call and write your state legislators and tell them to stand up for justice.
