Gazette sadly backing the wrong horses

To the person who wrote it won't help taxing the rich (Thursday letter, James Iverson). Wrong. I get my information from an interview with Bill Gates Sr. and Bill Gates Jr. This has been in President Obama's plan all along and the rich (with the exception of the ones already mentioned) have thrown big money into the campaign to see this doesn't happen.
Now voters have voted in the exact people who caused all this in the first place. This has thrown a wrench in the plan for recovery and who will be blamed? Obama!
The Republicans who vetoed all of Obama's plans have caused a lot of problems in the Senate. They don't want Obama to succeed, at the expense of the people.
Wake up, people, the Bush tax plan is just one of our problems and it will continue to cause problems if we don't back our president.
The person elected as Iowa governor has already opposed any future stimulus packages for Iowa and has said he is not ready to say go ahead with the passenger railroad. That is going backward. I was disappointed to see that The Gazette endorsed Terry Branstad. I thought the media was supposed to stay bipartisan.
The things I see in The Gazette about our president are repulsive and offensive.
