Sacrifice needed to pull U.S. out of debt

If you like socialistic policies, then President Obama is your man. Past presidents have both overspent and inched toward socialism, but never has a president done so as blatantly as Obama. He has spent more than any other president and signed into law the most socialistic legislation in our country's history. His ObamaCare soaks up more than one-sixth of our economy and is doomed to financial failure. The only viable alternative is health care rationing, a la England and Canada.
Paraphrasing Winston Churchill, “Democracy is the worst form of government except all the rest.” That is because no other form of government can last, even those led by dictators. Eventually, they collapse. We are on that threshold.
Examples: California is a basket case financially - they owe more than they can ever pay. New York is on the verge of a similar fate. Other states, too, are in dire financial condition. Our federal government is in the same fix, a la Greece, Spain, and most of Europe. Everyone must accept sacrifice if we are to survive this fiscal fiasco and exist for another, better day. If not, our young will take the brunt of Obama's spendthrift, socialistic goals.
