Dedication drives Poe

Ann Poe grew up on Ellis Boulevard, along the Cedar River. Her family home was flood impacted. In her old neighborhood, Ann sang in the children's choir at St. James Church. I first met Ann when I was doing a lead role in a Jaycee's musical production in the 1960s. Ann was understudying one of the children's roles. Even as a child she was dedicated to doing a good job and was well prepared to take over when she had to fill the role on very little notice.
I believe that Ann has that same passion for our community and will do an excellent job of filling the role of City Council At-large and leading our city into progress that makes sense. Ann is an active member of our community and is interested in the well-being of every citizen. She's prepared. Let's vote for Ann Poe.
