Stabbing reported in southeast Cedar Rapids

Police are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital Tuesday evening.
Officers were on patrol in the area of Fifth Avenue and 15th Street SE around 10:30 p.m. when they were flagged down by Tony Wilson, 43. He told them he was stabbed in the back after an argument with another man in the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue SE.
Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
Wilson was treated at Mercy Medical Center for his injuries. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The suspect is described as a tall, skinny black male in his 20s. An investigation was continuing.
