Scooter’s Coffee opens fifth Cedar Rapids store
Scooter's Coffee plans to hold a grand opening next week at its latest Cedar Rapids store at 1420 First Avenue NE.
The new store, which opened Aug. 12, marks Scooter's Coffee's fifth location in Cedar Rapids, and sits below the College Commons development downtown.
Franchise owners Brent and Carissa Votroubek of Cedar Rapids said they are eyeing two new locations on Mount Vernon and Edgewood roads over the next two years.
The Omaha, Neb.-based coffee chain has more than 220 locations in 15 states nationwide, plus more than 200 franchise commitments to build new stores in the coming years.
