Two men charged with bringing rifle to Dubuque party
Two men face first degree robbery charges after a weekend incident in Dubuque.
Police say 24-year-old Gregory Stapleton and 26-year-old Eric Edwards barged into a party with a rifle Saturday morning. Authorities say the men had left the party in the 700 block of University Avenue, but came back a few hours later.
The two men reportedly pointed a rifle at another person in a dispute over debt.
Police say no shots were fired and no one was hurt.
