Letter: Eye test needed for hunting license

Regarding the March 5 article 'No charges in shooting of 2 wolves”:
If a hunter's eyesight is so poor they can't tell the difference between a 100 pound, six feet long wolf and a 40 pound, 4.5 feet long coyote, maybe they shouldn't be hunting. The 'accidental” killing of something illegal (endangered) still is a crime and should be treated as such. Accidental can always be claimed if it will get you off the hook.
Maybe it's time to make it necessary to pass an eye test to obtain a hunting license just like it is to obtain a driver's license.
