Zink, Shirley Ann
Shirley Ann Zink passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, after a trying battle with dementia.
She was born in 1930 on Nov. 25, and grew up in the Maquoketa/Delmar area. She married Harold Zink in 1954 and bore him two children. She worked as a light bookkeeper for several businesses in Anamosa and Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; daughter, Lori Collingwood; and son, Jim Zink, all of Cedar Rapids; a granddaughter, Jennifer Kuhns of Lincoln, Neb.; and brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Marcie Zink of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna M Kennedy; and grandson, Dean Mefferd.
She was a rather private person but she liked most everyone once she got to know them. We will all miss her.
Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family. Private family services will be held at a later date.
