Campaign money could go to better causes

As a proud American, I am tired of the endless camp pains (not a spelling error) of lies, accusations and mud slinging that make a joke out of our system, which is supposed to truthfully educate us about the candidates.
All the money spent on television, printed posters, phone calls and letters could be better spent to provide job opportunities for people who want work, not unemployment checks.
Give us government for all the people, not a political party or powerful money people.
Require our politicians to live as the working and retired people, on Medicare and Social Security. Limit their annual salary increases to the same guidelines the average working person and retired people must accept.
Put a term limit on Congress as same as that of the president. Stop this endless TV money, half truths and character smearing in campaigns.
As a proud veteran, I think it ought to be criminal for some politicians to deny some of our brave, sacrificing military people overseas their opportunity to vote.
U.S. citizens, we can bring these changes if we vote for qualified candidates on Nov. 2.
