- Chad Christensen (Cedar Rapids Washington): Outfielder is hitting .284 in 41 games for high-Class A Fort Myers (Twins). Has 10 doubles, two home runs and 14 RBIs.

- Jon Keller (Cedar Rapids Xavier): Has allowed just one earned run in his last 11 innings out of the bullpen for high-A Frederick (Orioles). Is 3-3 with two saves and a 3.77 earned run average in 14 games.

- Derrick Loveless (Solon): Outfielder had a three-hit, two-RBI game last week for high-A Dunedin (Blue Jays). Is hitting .232 in 43 games this season, with two triples, three homers, 14 RBIs and five stolen bases.

- Colin Rea (Cascade): Remains on the disabled list for Double-A San Antonio (Padres). Has had a breakthrough season on the mound, with a 1-2 record and 1.38 ERA in eight starts. Has great WHIP of 0.88.

- Scott Schebler (Cedar Rapids Prairie): Outfielder had five-game hitting streak snapped Friday night, though he did walk twice for Triple-A Oklahoma City (Dodgers). Hitting .215 for the season in 43 games, with six homers and 14 RBIs.

- Jake Yacinich (University of Iowa): Shortstop for the Burlington Bees of the Midwest League (Angels) is hitting .297 in 27 games, with 11 RBIs. Had three consecutive multi-hit games last week.

- Taylor Zeutenhorst (University of Iowa): Outfielder for Clinton of the Midwest League (Mariners) has a .195 batting average in 23 games with a homer and 11 RBIs. Also has played in eight games for high-A Bakersfield, hitting .154.
