Maryland DT picks the Hawkeyes

According to HawkeyeReport.com, defensive tackle Anthony Ferguson has committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Ferguson, 6-2, 255 pounds, is from the Gilman School in Baltimore, Md., the same school as Jim Poggi, a linebacker who recently committed to the Hawkeyes. Ferguson picked the Hawkeyes over Penn State, Virginia and Duke.

Ferguson is the fourth verbal commitment for the 2010 class. He joins linebackers James Morris, Austin Gray and Poggi. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz told me last month that Iowa's recruiting class could be as small as 15 and as large as 20.
