On behalf of employees at Collins Community Credit Union, I would like to recognize and thank the Cedar Rapids Police Department and our members and neighbors on the southeast side for their assistance in apprehending the person suspected of robbing our First Avenue SE branch.
A number of credit union members and concerned citizens in the area at the time of the robbery went above and beyond to track down the suspect and help police.
We would also like to thank our members and neighbors who stopped in during the days following the robbery to check on our well-being. We are extremely proud to be a part of this neighborhood, and are dedicated to continuing to serve the outstanding citizens of this community.
