Memorable health care quotes, Democrats only

Cal Thomas (Jan. 4 column) says that the office of Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell has cobbled together a list of the top 20 memorable quotes from the recent health care debate. Thomas extracts the quotes of five Democratic senators from that list.
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley's “pulling the plug on grandma” quote should be on the list, but you can be certain that it isn't. If you need to contemplate Republican versions of “government interference” in your family's health care or end of life decision-making, you really need to think of only two things: abortion and Terri Schiavo.
