Elizabeth May (Warren) Westcott, 84, of Brainerd, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Central Minnesota Senior Care Facility due to acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19. She was cremated on Jan. 12, 2021.
Burial service will be Wednesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the burial at Thomas Park in Marion, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Ethel Klein Warren and Willard Warren. One of her achievements was graduating from John Roberts Powers Modeling School in Minneapolis, Minn.
Elizabeth had been married to Glenn Epperly, they divorced; she married Wesley Smith, they divorced; her last true love she married was Bruce Westcott of Minneapolis, Minn.
He is survived by a daughter, Ruby Ann Taylor (Todd) of Muscatine; brothers and sisters, Robert Warren (Ruby) of Cedar Rapids, Max Warren (Mary) of Hiawatha, Helen Spinler (Earl) of Lost Nation, and Doris Nelson of Junction City, Kan.; sister-in-law, Betty Warren of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Larissa Charne of Brainerd, Minn., Beth Fear (Wade) of Apple Junction, Ariz., Jackie Cherne (Sam) of St. Paul, Minn., and Bryce Taylor and Haylee Taylor of Muscatine; six great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother and father; a daughter, Debbie Cherne of Cambridge, Minn.; a brother, Ray Warren of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Dorothy McNally (Raymond) of Kenner, La.
