Local families are affected by child mental illness. Mental illness in children is a serious issue, these children suffer from bullying and loneliness due to lacking social skills. The often suffer from difficulty in school due to different learning styles, they are often mislabeled and stigmatized. This causes problems in the community, emotional and financial strain on their family, and if improperly diagnoses or treated can manifest in more serious problems as these children grow up.
