Sparks, Susan Kay
Susan Kay Sparks, 62, of Belle Plaine, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Hope Lodge in Iowa City following a lingering illness. There will be a memorial gathering from 1o a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Hrabak Funeral with Rick Sparks presiding.
She is survived by her husband, Sid Mabb; sons, Rick (Melyse) Sparks of Belle Plaine and Tom Sparks of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Tarina Sparks of Belle Plaine; sister, Sharon (Jim) Sonkfen of Evansdale; and by six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
