Government should evaluate priorities

To the editor:
Recently, I read a long list of foreign countries and the tremendous amounts of yearly aid the United States sends to each - billions of dollars.
And daily on television and in the mail we see heartbreaking pleas for money to help support paralyzed veterans, disabled American veterans, hospitalized veterans, Concerned Veterans of America, etc.
Something is drastically wrong with our government's financial priorities.
