Mike Hlas Sep. 27, 2009 7:02 pm
Neil Rudel of the Altoona Mirror thinks Penn State's next football coach should be the one who beat Joe Paterno Saturday night. Again.

The critics were right, wrote the Mirror's Cory Giger. Penn State was overrated. Click here for that story.
Walt Moody of State College's Centre Daily Times wrote this:

Dan Dibacco of pennlive.com admits it. Iowa surprised him. Click here for his writing.
David Jones of the Harrisburg Star-Patriot began his column from the game with this:
I admit to being fished in by the alleged power of the Penn State Whiteout. Welcome to the Great Show, the scoreboard flashes these days, a self-conscious back pat from a product that's begun feeding on itself – the Penn State “Game Day Experience.”
But I learned something Saturday night as the cold rain fell incessantly on Beaver Stadium:
You can't unnerve a machine. You only get unnerved by it.
