TERRI D. WESTFALL
North Liberty
Terri D. Westfall, nee Mader, 65, of North Liberty, Iowa, along with her two granddaughters, Alli Olsen and Ashleigh Rensing, were called to heaven on Friday, May 28, 2021, as the result of an auto accident.
Terri was born Dec. 15, 1955, in Rock Island, Ill., and was a graduate of Rock Island High School, Rock Island, Ill., Class of 1973. Terri married her loving husband Ron in June of 1973, shortly after graduation. Terri was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and two beautiful girls, and a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and was an avid reader of British literature. Terri was devoted to her faith and enjoyed spending time in fellowship and bible studies. She enjoyed long road trips and extensive antique shopping and could often be found listening to classical music and a sipping a glass of wine by the campfire.
At the age of 55, Terri was immensely proud to complete her Associates Degree in Health Information Management at Scott Community College. Terri enjoyed baking for her family, and during the holidays her eyes would glow with delight as she put up Christmas decorations and made holiday cookies and cinnamon rolls. Most recently, Terri enjoyed attending the events of her grandchildren; helping and participating in their activities truly brought her joy.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Doris Mader; and her mother-in-law, Geneva Christian. She is survived by her husband, Ron; her two daughters, Jennifer (David) Olsen and Beverly Westfall; her grandsons, Caden Olsen and Michael Rensing III; her sisters, Regina (Kenny) Hoffman and Vicky (Norris) Youngberg; her brother, Richard (Julie) Mader; her twin brother, Jerry (Judy) Mader; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
