Elwyn DeLancey Starr, 98, of Edgewood, formerly of South Dakota, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Edgewood Bible Church,
with the Rev. James Rinehart officiating. Family will greet friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Manchester. Additional visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Masonville.
Elwyn was born May 1, 1915, in Woonsocket, S.D., the son of James and Mary Sophia (DeLancey) Starr.
Elwyn is survived by two sons, Craig (Shirley) Starr of Masonville and Norman (Barbara) Starr of Glidden; five grand-children; 12 great-grand-children; a brother-in-law, Jack Wild of Vinton,Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Edgewood Bible Church.
