Elsie K. Hemesath Dessel, 80, of Ossian, died June 15, 2010, at her home. Mass of Christian burial: 1 p.m. Friday, June 18, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Ossian. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today at Schmitz Funeral Home in Ossian, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m., and from noon to service time Friday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, William; and eight children.
She was preceded in death by one son, Frank.
