Republicans missing opportunity with Paul
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jul. 2, 2011 11:12 am
I'm disgusted with Iowa Republicans and so-called conservatives! They have a rare, splendid, second-chance opportunity to support for the presidency U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, an uncompromising, solid constitutionalist. Yet they flirt with liberals, compromisers and unproven politicians.
Paul is a true statesman. His record for abiding by and upholding the Constitution is exemplary! It's inappropriate and unreasonable to even consider those other unproven candidates.
The Republicans are determined to shoot themselves in the foot once again exemplified by messing around with all those other wannabes who are only muddying the political waters. They're going to end up, again, running a liberal against a liberal and, of course, the incumbent Obama will prevail, and if he doesn't, we'll get someone just as bad!
Are Republicans too stupid to learn from history, or is this charade planned and choreographed by world-government internationalists who dominate and control both major political parties? Or will voters have learned their lesson and support Paul, the only one with the savvy to straighten this nation out?
