It's time to stop arming dangerous people

On April 16, the anniversary of the worst mass shooting in American history, 32 victims of gun violence joined The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence to demand Congress take action to stop arming dangerous people, per Dan Gross, their president. Now July 20 will have that distinction.
I would encourage all citizens to join the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence at www.bradycampaign.orgor on Facebook. There is much work to do. Protest gun shows, which regularly put handguns into the possession of violent criminals here and abroad, especially Mexico. These guns are not traceable, and this is an American disgrace.
My brother lives in Aurora, Colo., and the shooting there really gave me serious pause, but we all live in the line of fire. It is way past time that this is stopped from both directions, the gun sellers, and the gun buyers. We fail our children if we sit idly by as gun violence is perpetuated by ignorant behaviors and violent, mentally ill people.
No, I don't want your squirrel-huntin' shotgun, but these innocent people who went to a movie and wound up dead were not shot by your hunting gun.
