Terry L. Mastin, 77, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021, in Mountain Home, Ark.
Terry was born March 12, 1944, to Alberta and Albert Johnson. Later in years, he was adopted by his grandparents, Albert and Helen Mastin.
Terry joined the Naval Reserve in 1961. He graduated in 1962 from Jefferson High School. In August 1962, he left Cedar Rapids for the Navy. He served in served in Vietnam as a field service medic for 1 ½ years.
He proudly served his country for 22 years, retiring as Chief in 1982 in Orlando, Fla. In years to follow, he moved to Mountain Home, Ark.
He is survived by one son, Mike (Christine) of Florida; two daughters, Diana Mastin and Angela Wiseman of Chicago, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Jean (Larry) Balvin and Cydney Johnson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Claudia Smith (Ed) of Texas.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Keegan; and grandparents, Albert and Helen Mastin.
As per his wishes, he chose cremation and for his ashes to be scattered at sea.
