Too many questions surround tax

I won't be here at the end of your one-percent tax in 20 years and our City Council won't either. I know the money will not be going for the same things as are voted on now.
What happened to the millions from the federals and state the city has received so far? Wasn't it to build flood protection?
A few scoops of tar has fixed streets for years; what has changed?
Maybe I should hire outside consultants.
How many smart people and businesses have moved out of Cedar Rapids in the past few years?
Why am I here?
