Cornelis, Achiel Charles
Achiel Charles Cornelis, 83, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following a short illness. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, by the Rev. Charles Johnson. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Emily of Belle Plaine; daughter, Janice (Jim) Hinschberger of Solon; son, Charles (Sharon) of Bearsville, N.Y.; brother, Leon (Shirley) of Boone; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cornelis and Marion Cornelis, both of Belle Plaine; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
