Bring in coach who can build winning program

I continue to search the newspaper for something indicating that the University of Iowa Athletics Department is having heart-to-heart discussions about the future of Iowa baseball. More precisely, the future of Jack Dahm as head baseball coach at the UI. He has had eight years to get something positive going and has disappointingly failed.
Some people are concerned that the next step will be to eliminate the baseball program. I don't think that is needed. You simply have to bring in a head coach who actually knows how to build a winning program. Dahm was not able to do that at Creighton and he hasn't done it in Iowa City.
Let's face it, Big Ten baseball is not a national powerhouse. There is no excuse for Iowa to not qualify for the Big Ten tournament every year.
