One hurt in Marion garage fire

MARION - One person was injured after gas vapors ignited and sparked a fire in a garage at 860 Linnview Drive last night.

The injured person, who was not identified, was transported by ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital.

The Marion Fire Department says the fire was ignited by gas vapors during maintenance of a motorcycle. The fire was reported at 9:13 p.m.

When firefighters arrived on scene flames were coming through the roof of the garage. The fire was under control within 20 minutes.
