Car, SUV collide; passengers extricaced by firefighters
UPDATE: One woman was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries after two vehicles collided today at the intersection of Sixth Street and 32nd Avenue SW in Cedar Rapids.
The two vehicles, a car and a sport-utility vehicle, collided at the intersection just before noon today. The SUV ended up on its side, and the car on its top.
A man from one of the vehicles was walking around after the crash and was not taken to a hospital, according to reports from the scene.
