Right numbers didn’t line up for commission

The City of Cedar Rapids and Linn County pulled the lever on that big 'ol slot machine and the red sevens just wouldn't line up. Gosh durn it, anyhoo. We gamblers know that feeling well. Those red sevens don't line up for us either.
In today's political climate, maybe you can have the dissenting members of the (Iowa Racing and Gaming) Commission tossed out. Perhaps Bob Vander Plaats can offer some good, sound advice on that issue. Better yet, have them fired and pay them some taxpayer hush money.
