Hospice of Mercy welcomes new medical director
Mercy Medical Center is pleased to welcome Amanda Sommerfeldt, MD, as Medical Director of Hospice of Mercy. Most recently, Dr. Sommerfeldt served as Assistant Medical Director at Unity Hospice in De Pere, WI. She attended the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI and completed her family medicine residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. She is fellowship-trained in hospice and palliative medicine from Mercy Medical Center –North Iowa in Mason City.
