Letter: Time to take a break from protesting

The continued political demonstrations around the country are making the United States look like a Third World country. People need to accept the elections and at least let a year go by to see how President Donald Trump is doing before protesting anything and everything. The protesters have made their point - take a break.
It is obvious that these protests are orchestrated by Democratic supporters. I am sure there are many reasons to some to protest beyond anything we have ever seen in the past. One of the reasons I think the Democratic Party is so over the top is that they really do not want to see Trump change the status quo. I think they are particularly concerned that if jobs and better educational opportunities are created for the inner cities that the Democrats might start to see that base of the party start to go more Republican in the future. While Democrats claim to help the inner cities, they really want them to stay dependent to keep getting their votes. Real sad to say, but I believe it is true.
If the extreme protests continue for months on end, I feel they are really helping the Republicans down the road. Think about it.
