Where did all the bailout money go?

I can understand why people get frustrated with the health care issue. The Obama administration has not achieved a very good track record so far.
First, it tried to bail out the mortgage loan and banking industry. Studies now show that
20 percent of all mortgages are either in default or foreclosure. Where did all that bailout money go?
Next it tried to handle unemployment by pumping billions of dollars into corporations to stimulate the economy. Unemployment is approaching
11 percent and growing with no end in sight. Also, the rate of workplace suicides is escalating at an unprecedented rate. Where did all that money go?
And now these sage bureaucrats are charging forward to implement health care reform. Based on their track record, I wouldn't trust them to empty my trash.
The problems with our economy and employment need much more than the quick fix approach. Avarice and greed have run rampant and we now are seeing the result. Congress should reinstate progressive tax rates that penalize those who receive excessive compensation.
The most important thing in a congressman's mind is re-election, even more than the bribes the congressman receives from the lobbyists. So let's start a movement to recall our elected representatives and/or vote them out next election.
