Romney is a proven leader
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I am voting for Mitt Romney because he is a proven leader who has shown that he will engage everyone in solving the nation's problems. He is a kind, generous man who has demonstrated his caring for his fellow citizens throughout his life. He is a successful father, pastor of his church, a successful business man and an experienced executive as governor of Massachusetts.
The results of President Obama's policies have failed. We have experienced high unemployment above 8 percent with record numbers of Americans looking for opportunity and not finding it. The number of people in poverty and on food stamps is on the rise. His energy policies have increased the cost of energy. He wasted billions of dollars on green companies who have gone bankrupt. These policies we brought crushing federal deficits.
The most significant issue is that President Obama broke his promises and changed his style and demeanor from hope and change to bitter, mean-spirited political ranting. He said he would be president of red states and blue states, but now pits one American against another. Worst of all, we now know that President Obama knew that terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and he lied to us about protesters and imagined videos.
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan together will set America on the path to prosperity.
