Mercy Iowa City to host free 'Diabetes Expo'

Mercy Iowa City's Diabetes Education Program will host a free “Diabetes Expo” on Thursday, April 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Diabetes Expo will take place in the McAuley rooms, Mercy Medical Plaza, 540 E. Jefferson Street, Iowa City.

Participants will learn how to manage diabetes with safe exercises and medications and will also learn about foot and wound care. Refreshments and product displays will also be available.

Mercy presenters include Bradly Bussewitz, DPM, podiatrist; Judy Bennett, Program Director, Mercy Wound Center; Mike Farley, RPh, DPharm, Mercy Pharmacy; and Tracy Stolpe, Employee Safety Manager, Human Resources.
